A great crowd was on hand for the first farm bill listening session hosted by the House Agriculture Committee this past Saturday in Gainesville, Florida. Comments were given by farmers and ranchers and others involved with agriculture from across the Southeast on a wide range of topics. When the event was over, House Agriculture Committee Chairman Michael Conaway of Texas said the 2018 Farm Bill is a work in progress.
