The search is on for hay and balayage producers across the Southeast to enter the 2017 Southeastern Hay Contest. Since 2004, the SE Hay Contest has been spotlighting high-quality hay and balayage production in the Southeast. The Cooperative Extension programs in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina organize the contest each year. Results of this year’s contest will be announced during the Sunbelt Ag Expo in October, and the entry deadline is Thursday, September 21, 2017.
