Alabama Extension will host a series of instructional classes on the QuickBooks Pro software. The classes will help farmers and small business owners learn how to get the most out of this widely used program. Each section will last two nights with one class held on Tuesday night and the last class on Thursday night. Each class starts at 6 p.m. and lasts until 8 p.m.
Participants will learn the basics of the software, such as file set up and data entry. The textbook that will be used during these classes is QuickBooks 2014: The Missing Manual. This is a free Intuit manual that can be downloaded for personal use.
Class space is limited to 10 people per location. The fee for the two-session class is $25 per person. Registration for the classes can be done online at http://www.aces.edu/agriculture/business-management/quickbooks/index.php.
