Florida Farm Bureau Invites Members for Legislative Days

The 2017 Florida legislative session kicks off Tuesday, and Florida Farm Bureau members are encouraged to be in Tallahassee for Legislative Days. Adam Basford says it’s a chance for Bureau members to discuss the issues facing farm families with legislators and their staff.

Florida Farm Bureau Legislative Days starts Tuesday evening with an open-house reception at Florida Farm Bureau’s new legislative office in Tallahassee. On Wednesday morning, there will be a briefing breakfast to go over Farm Bureau’s legislative agenda and other important legislative issues before members go to the Capitol to meet with their elected officials. Then the day will conclude with the annual “Taste of Florida Agriculture” reception in the Capitol Courtyard between the Old Capitol and New Capitol.
