Sure the holidays are behind us, but the food holidays will continue all year long. And today is one of those “good for you” food holidays, especially for anyone who may be having a hard time keeping up with those New Year’s resolutions. Today is National Green Juice Day. It’s observed annually on January 26th and is designed to inspire everyone to thrive by taking small sips toward a healthier way of living. Green juice can include fresh ingredients of fruits and vegetables such as kale, lemon, ginger, cucumber, apples and celery. There are countless ways to craft your own tasty green juice while meeting your daily veggie goals. So whether you make your own at home or grab a cold-pressed green juice from the store, today is a day to raise your green glass and toast to your health.
