Cotton Demand Continues to Struggle

Although world consumption for cotton has expanded for the past five years, demand continues to struggle due to increased competition from lower priced man-made fibers. Dr. Gary Adams, President and CEO of the National Cotton Council, says the export market for U.S. cotton continues to be the primary outlet.
