A three year strategy was announced last month in the recovery efforts along the gulf coast from the effects of the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill. The plan is to improve water quality and ecosystem health along the five state region, and USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service in Alabama will be involved in the effort.
