The Ranch Rodeo State Finals and Cowboy Heritage Festival is coming up this weekend, September 30-October 1 at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida. The rodeo performances will be at 7 pm and will feature 16 ranch teams. Events include saddle bronc riding, colt riding, wild cow milking, calf paint-branding, cattle sorting, a stampede race and more. There will also be a ranch horse competition, working cow dog contest, a beef brisket cookoff, and more.
The Cowboy Heritage Festival is from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and will highlight Florida’s history through displays and cowboy art. There will be performers and live actors within the exhibits showcasing the cowboy and ranching way of life. More information is available on the Florida Cattlemen’s Association website.
