Representatives from states across the south are in Point Clear, Alabama this week for the 2016 Southern Association of State Departments of Agriculture (SASDA) Conference.
This year’s president is Alabama Commissioner of Agriculture John McMillan, who explains what SASDA is all about.
Another attendee is Georgia Commissioner of Agriculture, Gary Black. He talks about the importance of the meeting.
Florida was represented at the event by Matt Joyner, director of federal affairs for the Florida Department of Agriculture. And he explains how important this event is for the department.
