Haiti Field Visit by Heifer International

You can do that by giving a Heifer gift – such as a goat – as an example. These versatile creatures can supply up to a ton of milk a year, used to make milk, cheese, butter and improved income with the sale of milk products. Not to mention, they can have up to two or three kids per year, provide manure for fertilizer and are small enough to keep on even the smallest farms.

Rapti Women Empowerment Project by Heifer InternationalFor 70 years, Heifer International has provided livestock and environmentally sound agricultural training to improve the lives of those who struggle daily for reliable sources of food and income.
