The annual Alabama Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association’s conference and tradeshow is coming up next week, November 19-20 at the Clanton Conference and Performing Arts Center in Clanton, Alabama. This year’s conference will feature bus tours to local farms on Thursday November 19, and will provide an in-depth hands on learning experience for growers.
The grower commodity networking sessions are always a highlight of the convention and this year there will be four groups discussing different things such as tomatoes, okra, watermelons, squash, green house crops, nuts and fruit production. The tradeshow this year will have over 40 exhibitors from all different aspects of the fruit and vegetable industry including seed, lending and equipment companies.
