Now that citrus bloom is pretty much over, growers are starting to conduct their sprays in an attempt to manage the high populations of HLB-spreading psyllids. Highlands County Citrus Growers Association Executive Director Ray Royce encourages growers to get any bee hives removed to avoid adverse reactions between the bees and chemical compounds.
