Record Pace for U.S. Poultry Exports

USDA’s Foreign Agriculture Service shows U.S. poultry exports through the third quarter of 2013 continued a record pace, according to Meatingplace. From January through September, total poultry exports were 3.077 million metric tons, valued at 4.152-dollars, and up one-percent and three-percent respectively. In September, U.S. broiler meat exports dropped by one-percent to 276,135-tons, with value increasing slightly to 354.5-million dollars, compared to September 2012 figures.
