USDA has announced the creation of a new, unified emergency response framework to address citrus greening. And while Andrew Meadows with Florida Citrus Mutual says that they are encouraged by the announcement, they are more focused on the need to pass a farm bill that includes the National Citrus Research Trust Fund.
