Youth ages 18 and younger who are related to a member of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, American National Cattlewomen or the Cattlemen’s Beef Board are being urged to take part in a National Anthem singing contest. NCBA is hosting this contest to determine who will sing the Star Spangled Banner at the opening general session of the 2014 Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show in Nashville, Tennessee, February 4-7, 2014. The winner will also sing it at the Grand Ole Opry during the Cowboy’s Night at the Opry. But if interested, submit your name soon as the entry deadline is November 1. The top four finalists will be selected by November 15, then online voting will take place to determine the winner. For more information go to www.beefusa.org.
