Alabama Governor Will Address Cattlemen at Annual Convention

Governor Robert Bentley will address hundreds of cattlemen from around the state at the Governor’s Luncheon on Saturday, March 23rd at the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association 70th Annual Convention and Trade Show at the Sheraton in Birmingham. Following a morning of guest speakers, including Dr. Temple Grandin, animal scientist and autism activist, the Governor will speak to cattlemen about the efforts to reduce the cost of state government by consolidation and other issues facing this session of the legislature.”

Dr. Billy Powell, ACA Executive Vice President said, “We are proud to host the Governor at our Diamond Jubilee Convention. We hope he enjoys a delicious steak and provides us insight into how working together we can expand the impact that the agricultural sector contributes to the state’s economy.”

The ACA Convention and Trade Show will offer a one-day registration pass for $15 that includes the General Session on Saturday morning and access to the trade show. A limited number of meal tickets for the Governor’s Luncheon will be sold on-site for $50.
