According to recent news reports, Brazil has indicated it would end orange exports to European Union countries. The main reason reportedly is the incidence of citrus black spot on oranges shipped to the EU. Citrus black spot was first detected in Florida in 2010 and is believed to be confined to Collier and Hendry counties.
