Many Florida citrus growers a few years ago were very concerned about high HLB infection rates among their young trees. Some have recently expressed more optimism about their ability to protect young trees from HLB-carrying psyllids. Larry Black, general manager of Peace River Packing Company, tells why he’s in the camp that’s more hopeful about the future of their young trees.
