Getting more students interested in coming back to their home areas where veterinarians are needed has been a real effort for some and Calvin Johnson, acting dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University, said they monitor students five years after they graduate just to see what they are doing and how it relates to their previous plans.
