The Natural Resources Conservation Service is currently accepting applications for the Working Lands for Wildlife initiative and USDA Under Secretary for Natural Resources and the Environment Harris Sherman says Alabama and Florida will be focusing on the gopher tortoise.
The batching deadline for the Working Lands for Wildlife initiative is April 30, 2012.
