This past Friday was the last day for a long time employee with the Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries, as Dyan Kennedy has retired after 33 years. She has been known for providing Southeast AgNet with the weekly Alabama Livestock Market report. A retirement party was held as she received a special plaque from Commissioner John McMillan, and I briefly talked with Dyan before she headed out of her office for the last time.
