John Callaway of Hogansville, who chairs the Beef Cattle Committee of the Georgia Farm Bureau Federation, was recently named by Governor Nathan Deal to serve on the Georgia Agricultural Exposition Authority. Callaway, the owner and operator of Callaway Cattle Company, is retired from the University of Georgia’s Cooperative Extension Service where he worked for 29 years in Clarke and Haralson counties and is also a past president of the Georgia Cattlemen’s Association.
