When it comes to collections of beef checkoff dollars in the state, Florida Beef Council’s Jim Handley reminds producers that dollars collected for the voluntary beef checkoff will be kept separate from the regular one-dollar federally mandated checkoff and will be used strictly to promote beef in Florida.
