Vetoed Florida Citrus Research Bill May Be Overridden Soon

A bill that would have codified the Citrus Research and Development Foundation and allowed collection of more grower taxes for disease research was vetoed this year by Gov. Charlie Crist. That veto could be overridden soon as a result of the recent election, according to Florida Citrus Mutual Communications Director Andrew Meadows.
