Citrus Grower Pushes Alternative Greening Research

Jerry Newlin of Orange-CoAs a member of the Citrus Research and Development Foundation, Jerry Newlin of Orange-Co has led the call for more research into nutritional sprays and other alternatives for coping with greening disease. In the first report, he says his company still follows the standard greening disease protocol of aggressively removing infected trees, but tells why some growers need other options. In the second report, Newlin says much good alternative research has been done, both by growers and the University of Florida, but says it should be enhanced.
