The Joint Legislative Sunset Committee Monday recommended the Florida Legislature create an up or down referendum on the Florida Department of Citrus (FDOC), proposing the grower vote take place in conjunction with the 2010 Scientific Research Box Tax Referendum. Lawmakers yet have to decide whether or not to move forward, but many expect it to perculate in some manner. Stay tuned, we’ll have comments as we catch up with the players.
