The World Cancer Research Fund/American Institute for Cancer Research released a report Wednesday entitled “Food, Nutrition and the Prevention of Cancer:  A Global Perspective.†The report links red & processed meat with cancer, which resulted in swift reaction by many in the beef and overall meat industry. Below are reactions to this report from those in the industry here in the Southeast.
