Importance of Crop Forecasts

USDA Nat'l Agriculture Statistics Service The 2007 crop year is starting to wind down and the next crop production forecast due out this Friday will be closer to the actual numbers for the year. Doug Kleweno with the National Ag Statistics Service in Georgia says the information they put together each month is an important gauge of how the crops are progressing.
