The Highlands County Citrus Growers Association held their 9th Annual Citrus Fun Shoot on December 9th at Quail Creek Plantation. The Gator Smiles/David Willey DMD team (in the photo: Gary Bloom, Jason Cloud, Ray Broughton & Steven Phypers) won the team competition breaking 377 out of a combined 400 targets.
The sporting clays fun shoot was held on a beautiful Florida day with 281 shooting participants joined by approximately another 50 folks for a tremendous seafood and steak luncheon complete with a large array of participation prizes. The Blues Brothers team (Jeff McDaniels, Santiago Rodriques, Tommy Greenwood & Eric Johns) finished as team runner-up. High-Overall Individual Honors went to Tim Luke (96/100) and Individual Runner-Up was Ralton Albritton.
