NAMA Florida is the Florida Chapter of the National Agri-Marketing Association. Registration information is further below in this post, and in this printable PDF Flyer about the meeting.

University of Florida has been growing its efforts to prepare students for careers in these agri-marketing related fields, through modern full degree programs that couple hands-on industry experience with academic studies and national agri-marketing competitions. UF’s College of Agriculture has a full degree program in Agriculture Communications, and its Food and Resource Economics Department’s “Gator NAMA” Agri-Marketing Team has excelled in national competitions in several of the most recent years’ NAMA Student Marketing competitions.

NAMA Florida’s new officers for the coming year will also be installed at the July 17 luncheon, as the Chapter’s membership continues to grow. NAMA Florida is also gearing up and looking forward to being the host chapter for the National NAMA Conference that will come to Jacksonville, Florida next April.

Anyone involved in selling products to the farm sector can benefit from relationships, meetings and activities offered through NAMA membership. A portion of a modest annual dues payment helps to provide ongoing support for the Student NAMA team and club activities as well. Membership is NOT required to attend the NAMA luncheons, however, if interested please contact NAMA Florida President Lyn Cacella at Farm Credit of Florida, at the numbers and e-mail address noted in the following paragraph.

Farm Credit and Southeast AgNet are NAMA Florida luncheon co-sponsors, and a special $50 pre-registration fee for the NAMA luncheon is being offered for those registering directly through Farm Credit at 561-855-3010, or Info@FarmCreditFL.com.
