Farmers, Ranchers Help Declining Pollinators

Gainesville, FL.– Florida’s pollinators are in trouble. City sprawl is overtaking their habitat, threatening wildflowers and ecosystems, along with the state’s agricultural industry. And now farmers and ranchers can get technical and financial assistance to help. DOT Exempts Livestock from Hours of Service Requirement

From the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association: WASHINGTON (June 6, 2014) – Today, the U.S. Department of Transportation granted a one-year exemption to the Hours-of-Service requirement for the transportation of livestock.
