AL Cattlewoman Urges Yes Vote for Youth
The Alabama 50-cent State Beef Checkoff will be voted on again by producers across the state on July 29th, and Lana Slaten, a past president of the Alabama CattleWomen who currently serves as Vice President of the American National CattleWomen, said this money goes a long way to helping our youth programs across the state. The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service in Alabama is sponsoring a three-day Wildlife School covering many aspects of wildlife habitat and population management. Southern Peanut Growers to Meet
Members of the Southern Peanut Farmers Federation will be meeting in Panama City starting on Sunday, according to Randy Griggs with the Alabama Peanut producers, who says the meeting will provide producers with some interesting information and insights.
