U.S. Farmers Intend to Plant Less Corn, More Soybeans

A new report released by the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), shows producers surveyed across the U.S. intend to plant 90.0 million acres of corn in 2024, down 5% from last year. Growers intend to plant 10.7 million acres of all cotton across the United States, which is up 4 percent from the previous year.
