Planting Intentions Report Has Cotton Acres Lower in 2015
The 2015 USDA Planting Intentions Report was released today. In Georgia, acreage is expected to total 1.10 million acres, down from 1.38 million acres last year. In Alabama, growers intend to plant 300,000 acres, down 50,000 acres from last year. Florida growers expect to plant 90,000 acres, down 17,000 acres from 2014.
