Markets closed, of course, on this Good Friday, giving us an opportunity to continue a long-time tradition as we share with you the Jelly Bean Prayer. Lots of jelly beans this weekend, maybe a little different meaning after the prayer.
Red is for the blood he gave, green for the grass he made, yellow for his sun so bright, orange for the edge of night, black for the sins we made, but white for the grace he gave, purple his hours of sorrow, pink is for our new tomorrow. It’s a bag of jelly beans, colorful and sweet, also a prayer, a promise, and an Easter treat.
