It’s a pleasure to share our Thanksgiving on the Farm poem that I wrote some years ago, and we’ll do that as we continue the Bottom Line Report. Our friends at AgroLiquid join me in wishing you a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving, and we share our Thanksgiving on the Farm poem as we have for many, many years.

The chores are done, it feels like winter. Let’s get inside for our Thanksgiving dinner. As I walk toward the house, I pass by the barn.

Inside, the cattle are bedded and warm. They had a tough summer with the heat and all. They’ve been doing much better since early this fall.

Oh, someone left the garage door open. I could use a new truck, at least I’m hoping. I head for the house to my family and wife.

It’s been a good year, and this is still a good life. As I hang up my coat, I see on the mirror a picture of Dad and his bee, John Deere. I thank the Lord I’m still young and able, and join my family at the Thanksgiving table.

Happy Thanksgiving!
