China Retaliatory Tariffs Could Effectively Halt Red Meat Trade

According to the US Meat Export Federation, the recent reciprocal tariffs by the US and the retaliatory tariffs imposed by China have effectively halted trade. The effective duty rate on US Beef and beef variety meat are currently tariffed at 147% and US pork and pork variety meats have reached 172%.
