At Alabama Livestock Auctions, for the week ended- April 18, 2025, receipts at 16 markets totaled 12,367 head compared to 6,269 last week and 9,136 last year. Compared to last week: Slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Feeder cattle sold 2.00 to 7.00 higher. Trade active with good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold mostly steady. Year-to-date receipts totaled 135,144 compared to 154,130 last year.
