The US Meat Export Federation is reporting that the February exports of US Pork and Beef are lower than the same time period in 2024, according to data released by USDA. US Pork exports were down 4 percent from the year ago volume with values falling 2 percent. US beef exports were down 5.5 percent in February from this time last year with the value of the product down 4 percent. Dan Halstrom, USMEF President and CEO highlighted current trends in export markets for beef including the potential retaliatory tariffs.
