At Alabama Livestock Auctions, for the week ended November 08, 2024, receipts at 16 markets totaled 10,777 head compared to 12,821 last week and 19,173 last year. Compared to last week: Slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 5.00 lower, slaughter bulls sold steady to 2.00 lower. Feeder steers and feeder bulls sold 1.00 to 6.00 higher, feeder heifers sold steady to 4.00 higher. Trade active with good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady. Year-to-date receipts totaled 468,748 compared to 561,506 last year.
