At Alabama Livestock Auctions, for the week ended October 04, 2024, receipts at 16 markets totaled 13,059 head compared to 10,931 last week and 14,575 last year.  Compared to last week: Slaughter cattle sold steady to 3.00 lower. All feeder classes sold steady to 3.00 higher. Trade active with good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady to weaker. Year-to-date receipts totaled 410,758 compared to 488,536 last year.
