While the recent rain across the southeast has been welcomed, persistent dry conditions have led to an earlier arrival of a detrimental pest: Fall Armyworms. I visited with Jenna Schmidt, Alabama Cooperative Extension Services (ACES) Regional Extension Agent for Animal Sciences, to learn more about how producers across the southeast can tackle this pest.
