The novel H5N1 virus facing animal agriculture has been in the spotlight recently as it transferred from poultry to other livestock. United States Department of   Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack discusses the collaboration between federal agencies and other stakeholders in light of cases of H5N1 strain of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza detected in dairy cattle.
