The Florida Grower Citrus Show is taking place today, April 13th, in Fort Pierce in the parking lot between the University of Florida/IFAS Indian River Research and Education Center and the USDA Agricultural Research Service U.S. Horticultural Research Laboratory.
The trade show opens at 8:00am, where coffee and breakfast will be served. The general session begins at 9:00am, then from 11:00am until 2:00pm the trade show becomes a tailgate party where attendees can enjoy culinary sampling while networking with exhibitors and other attendees. The Florida Grower Citrus Show tailgate party will be held in the parking lot between the UF/IFAS Indian River Research and Education Center and the USDA ARS U.S. Horticultural Research Laboratory. The tailgate hub, located at the center of the tailgate party, will include complimentary BBQ lunch and tailgate games. You’ll also have a chance to visit with exhibitors, sample their delicious tailgate dishes and vote on your favorite to be entered into a $500 cash prize drawing.
Then from 2:00 – 4:00pm concurrent citrus and vegetable sessions will be held.
