The Georgia Peanut Commission (GPC) is once again in the driver’s seat of promoting peanuts to the world.
Justin Odom, project coordinator for farm and field services, discusses the impact of GPC’s partnership with Front Row Motorsports again.
“We’re very excited to be working with Front Row Motorsports again this year. We’re sponsoring the No. 38 Ford and driver Todd Gilliland. Todd is a rookie and has tons of upside, and he’s geared to having a very successful rookie season. We’ll be sponsoring Todd in the No. 38 Ford at both the Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 20 and Talladega Superspeedway on Oct. 2,” Odom said. “The sponsorship of the No. 38 Ford is a great way for us to get the Georgia peanuts brand in front of millions of NASCAR fans with the goal of driving consumers to purchase more peanuts and peanut products.”
The GPC will have a booth set up at the Fan Zone in Atlanta during race weekend. Staff members will hand out peanut bags. Gilliland will also make an appearance at the booth on Sunday from noon-12:30 p.m.
The commission will also donate 1,500 jars of peanut butter to a cause of Gilliland – feednc in Mooresville, North Carolina.
The Georgia Peanut Commission thanks Peanut Proud for supply the peanut butter being donated.
