As we near the end of 2021, the Florida Cattlemen’s Foundation (FCF) wants to remind ranchers and landowners across the state that they do entertain donations of not just cash, but also real property, stocks, bonds or other assets and use them to provide for the betterment of the Florida Cattle Industry.
The FCF is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides funding and programming for Leadership Development, Youth Activities, Research, and Historical Preservation of the Florida Cattle Industry.
Here are just a few examples of FCF funded endeavors:
- Leadership Development and Youth Programs, Funding for the Florida Cattlemen’s Leadership Academy, Premier Sponsor of Junior Florida Cattlemen’s Association Events, Top level donor of the Florida State Fair Champion of Champions Program, Annual donor to 4-H and FFA programming, Annual Support of the University of Florida Livestock Judging Teams, support of the Warner University Agricultural program, house and distribute a number of scholarship accounts and awards, provide opportunities for children from urban areas to spend a day on a working cattle ranch.
- Research that provides administrative support for FCEB projects in the areas of Genetics, Animal Health, Reproduction, Nutrition, Sustainability, and administration of an animal ID pilot project, have directly funded research projects over the years.
