The Prospective Plantings Report will be released Tuesday, March 31st at noon EDT. Chief of the Crops Branch of USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), Lance Honig, says this report is highly anticipated.
Honig notes actual plantings this year could end up being vastly different from what farmers have reported as their planting intentions in the upcoming Prospective Plantings report.
