The Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries (ADAI) wants to remind producers who performed agriculture irrigation upgrades in 2019 to complete the required irrigation questionnaire, which is due January 31, 2020. An income tax credit is available for certain costs of irrigation equipment, fuel conversions, and reservoirs, And while the Alabama Department of Revenue (ADOR) will issue any tax credits, ADAI is responsible for collecting completed irrigation questionnaires from producers seeking a tax credit for 2019.
