Last Friday, a round-table discussion concerning theĀ U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement and disaster aid was held in Doerun, Georgia, as a large group of folks were on hand to hear what U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue had to say about those topics.
It has been eight months since Hurricane Michael affected many across the Southeast. Colquitt County farmer Bart Davis, who is chairman of the Georgia Cotton Commission, told Southeast AgNetās Gary Cooper that he is thankful for those who kept fighting for disaster assistance.
Secretary Perdue took part in the discussions with Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, Senator David Perdue, Congressman Sanford Bishop, Congressman Austin Scott, Commissioner Gary Black and various local stakeholders.
