The 2019 Florida Beef Cattle Short Course will be held May 8-10 at the Alto and Patricia Straughn IFAS Extension Professional Development Center in Gainesville, Florida. The Short Course Program Committee and the UF Department of Animal Sciences invites serious beef cattle producers in the Southeast to attend. Some of the topics being discussed this year include the Value and Mechanics of Meat Exports, Cattle Cloning: Alpha and Omega, Genetic Markers for Meat Quality, Mycotoxins in Forages and more.
